Highland Refractory manufactures the complete range of fire clay bricks (clay fire bricks) in grades N-1 through N-6, with Al₂O₃ content from 30% to 48% and refractoriness from 1580°C to 1750°C.
Standard dimensions 230×114×65 mm (T-3) are stocked for immediate dispatch; custom wedge, arch, skew, and keystone profiles are produced to customer drawings at ±1 mm tolerance. MOQ 3 tons, lead time 30–40 working days for standard grades, 40–60 working days for custom shapes.
Kiln firebrick is a shaped refractory brick engineered to line the hot faces, working linings, and transition zones of industrial kilns. Manufactured from calcined bauxite, fire clay, and high-purity alumina, pressed at 1500 tons and fired at 1400–1600°C, kiln firebricks deliver refractoriness up to 1790°C, cold crushing strength ≥30–70 MPa, and thermal shock resistance ≥15 cycles. Highland supplies 10+ kiln brick grades — including high alumina kiln bricks, silica kiln bricks, magnesia kiln bricks, fireclay kiln bricks, mullite insulation kiln bricks, and silicon carbide kiln bricks — covering cement rotary kilns, glass melting furnaces, ceramic tunnel kilns, blast furnaces, and incineration kilns.
Lightweight refractory bricks are porous refractory materials manufactured from carefully selected alumino-silicate raw materials combined with pore-forming technologies. Through controlled firing processes, these bricks achieve a low bulk density and high porosity, allowing them to provide excellent thermal insulation while remaining stable at elevated temperatures. Typical performance ranges include: Bulk Density: approximately 0.6 – 1.3 g/cm³ Maximum Service Temperature: typically 1200°C – 1600°C Thermal Conductivity: significantly lower than dense refractory bricks Cold Crushing Strength: sufficient for insulation and backup lining applications It is important to note that lightweight refractory bricks are not intended for heavy load-bearing zones.
Standard Size: 9 x 4.5 x 2.5 inches (Equivalent to 230 x 114 x 65 mm). Weight per Brick: Approximately 8.0 lbs (3.6 kg). Material Grades: Available in Low Duty (2000F), High Duty (2700F), and Super Duty (3000F+). Alumina Content: Ranging from 35 percent to 55 percent depending on your application. Dimensional Tolerance: +/- 1.5 percent (Industry-leading precision for tight masonry joints).
Fireclay Arch Bricks (35-45% Alumina): Ideal for residential pizza ovens, fireplaces, and low-temperature industrial zones. These offer excellent thermal shock resistance. High Alumina Arch Bricks (55-85% Alumina): Designed for the most punishing environments, such as cement kilns or steel ladles. These bricks resist slag penetration and maintain structural integrity up to 1700 degrees Celsius (3100 Fahrenheit). Mullite and Corundum Arch Bricks: For specialized glass or petrochemical applications where zero-contamination and extreme heat resistance are non-negotiable.

Each production batch receives X-ray fluorescence chemical analysis verifying Al₂O₃, SiO₂, Fe₂O₃, and alkali content against specification.
Every shipment includes physical property test certificates covering refractoriness, CCS, apparent porosity, and permanent linear change.
Additional certifications and test reports are available on request: CE conformity, SGS third-party inspection, and customer-specific qualification protocols.
No trading margin. You work directly with the factory — from raw material (local Xinmi clay) through pressing, firing, and inspection. Price is factory-direct and stable.

Standard export packaging: bricks are stacked on wooden pallets (fumigated, ISPM-15 compliant), separated by corrugated cardboard, wrapped in stretch film, then strapped with steel bands. Each pallet typically holds 1–1.5 tons. Pallets are loaded into containers — a 20-foot container holds approximately 20–22 tons, a 40-foot container holds 26–28 tons. Custom packaging (plywood crates for fragile custom shapes) is available on request.
Standard payment terms: 30% advance by T/T (telegraphic transfer), 70% balance against copy of Bill of Lading. For long-term customers and repeat orders, we offer L/C at sight and flexible terms. Quotation is in USD FOB Qingdao or CIF destination port — let us know your preferred Incoterms.
Each shipment includes: (1) XRF chemical analysis report for each batch, (2) physical property test certificate covering refractoriness, cold crushing strength, apparent porosity, bulk density, and permanent linear change, (3) dimensional inspection report, (4) ISO 9001 certificate copy. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, Intertek) can be arranged at the customer's request and expense.
Yes. We produce custom-shaped fire clay bricks from customer drawings in PDF, DWG, DXF, or hand-drawn format with dimensions. Our engineering team reviews each drawing for pressing feasibility, mold design requirements, and firing considerations, then provides a quotation including mold cost and unit price. Standard mold cost is credited back on orders exceeding 10 tons of the same shape.
